Maybe he can't even blame Steve for his outrage, considering just how crazy it all is. But Eddie talks Steve off the proverbial ledge, promises he can make it worth his while if everything goes smoothly. And things going smoothly means Steve needs to play his part just like the rest of them. Eddie usually isn't so keen to throw around to throw the weight of his uncle's company around, but these are special circumstances.

The dress Robin had been wearing is a deep shade of violet, with a plunging neckline and carefully placed sequins. It had been a scandalous length on Robin, but on Chrissy, it settles just at her knees. It's baggy on her, but not so much that it stands out as not being hers. Once they're on the street and a reasonable distance away, Eddie is laughing as well, pulling his mask up off his face. She might recognize him now, he realizes, but doesn't think it will matter. ]
