Compared to the rest of the evening, this part feels strangely benign, normal, in comparison. Eddie does his best to remain stoic, but it's impossible not to flinch a little. All the while, he keeps his gaze on her, flashes her a smile whenever he can manage to summon one up. All that really matters is he's no longer in danger of bleeding out, and Chrissy has accomplished that. ]
