[She tells herself that she's not five and teddy bears are childish. That she doesn't need one. But it's hard to keep her face from lighting up with an eager smile at the mention of him winning her a big teddy bear. There's a bounce to things as she wraps her arms around him, pulling herself in so close that she has to press her chin against his chest so she can look up at his face.]

You'll win me something? Really?

[It sounds like she thinks he's hung every star in the sky for her. Something so simple means a lot to her, and she almost feels foolish for being so genuinely pleased.]

Let's see the rest of the fair, because I don't know how long I'll be able to keep my hands off of you if you actually win me something.
